Oooh damn!!! I am in love with Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2. I really am. I have watched, and read, mixed reviews about this, but…. but… I may be in the minority on this… but…

The first time I watched Guardians of the Galaxy, the first one, I was a bit underwhelmed. As I watched it again, I grew to love it. But with Volume 2, it was love at first watch.

I see the complaints about this being too jokey. It was, but for me, it works. It fits. Guardians of the Galaxy is the only series in the MCU that can get away with it. This is supposed to be a fun movie and this movie will give you that.

This was a fantastic movie to watch on the big screen. I LOVED SEEING MORE OF THE GALAXY! There were a lot more stuff they can do with the cosmic side of MCU, which they hinted at on one of the five post credits scenes of this movie. Yessss… they have FIVE post credit scenes. I love them all.

The visuals were amazing.
The action was spectacular.

But the thing I loved the most about this movie was how it dealt with family. I looooved that so much. It made me teary-eyed towards the end. I love the chemistry between the characters and how they worked as a team. Gaaaah! I am still at loss for words. Also, I DID NOT EXPECT TO GET AN OVERWHELMING RUSH OF EMOTIONS WHILE WATCHING THIS FILM. But I did. And it was great! I loved it.

Some standouts for me in this movie was Michael Rooker’s character, Yondu. I really wish here was more of him

If this movie had any flaws, it might be the fact that it had too many jokes. It didn’t bother me personally, but I can see others could find some lines a bit jarring.

Oh and did I mention the amazing cameos in this film? Gaaaah!!! I am super pumped!!
